Hiroshima Hypocenter

On August 6, 1945, the atomic bomb code-named Little Boy detonated approximately 600 meters above this spot in the city of Hiroshima. This devastating event, known as the Hiroshima Hypocenter, is noted by a small plaque on the side of the street, not too far from the more famous A-Bomb Dome.
